Default Mister Charisma

Kilroy gets on Any Questions and the front of the Daily Mail. Our Glorious Leader gets INTO phpbb_the Newquay Voice.

Quote:
Former Newquay councillor Norman Thompson told Mr Knapman at the meeting.
"I think Mr Kilroy Silk is much more charismatic than you, I met him and he’s a great guy," he said.
"If UKIP is to be seen as a credible party, it needs to be seen as unified and not in disarray."

I do think Knapman needs to get his face in the mainstream media a bit(read lot) more. A quite, steady hand is useful, but the public need to see a front man for UKIP.

RKS was doing a good job before all the troubles, it showed that the leader could actualy pass this function off to a more media friendly type.

Now we either need

a) A new media friendly type to front our campaign.
b) Roger Knapman to push himself INTO phpbb_the limelight.
c) RKS and the leadership to shake hands and agree RKS take this role again and leave the leadership issue until later!

Any other ideas, and yes I know not all my options are goers!

Brown suit. In the light of some accusations, was that so wise?

The less said about slurry being thrown over Robert Kilroy-Silk the better. It is not funny. In a democracy people express opinions, make speeches and vote. They must not be subjected to this sort of anti-democratic and repellent behaviour.
The more of it that goes on the more decent people will refrain from the democratic process leaving the field for gangsters and extremists who have plenty of minders.

Here's a quote from Knapman, from the article above -
Quote:
"UKIP is not a one issue party, we will have a manifesto, which will have some startling ideas, which will attract those divorced from the political process.
"We have not released our manifesto yet as people will pinch our good ideas and if there are bad ideas newspapers like the Newquay Voice will make fun of them."
Don't know whether to laugh or cry....
