Here's the introduction. Amateur night.....

ACTIVE DEMOCRACY

The United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) recognises the important role you, the British people, will play in the implementation of the policies contained in this manifesto. We are proud that UKIP is the first party in British political history to present policies that depend for their success on the assistance of the British people, based, as they are, on giving you a greater responsibility and a more significant role in improving your country. Those in industry, local government, public services, business, in country, town or city, young and old, all will have a real and continuing opportunity to shape and develop the re-building of your nation.

Without you, we are nothing.

With you, nothing is impossible.

There is a simple answer to all those who don't wish to follow party rules, policies, leadership, MEPs and our constitution. Leave! We have far, far more important things to do, such as saving this country for future generations. We can only do that by winning seats in parliament. All other so-called problems in the party can wait until after the election. Why is that so hard? Is it because certain people wish to wreck our chances? Other parties have had members who were hell bent on causing trouble in order to split the party in order to help the party that they really supported.

That is the trouble with a forum open to non-members.
So you're saying that we should sort out the problems with the manifesto after the election???

As you know, this forum is not an official UKIP forum, and is open to anyone. As I told you on another thread, I am a party member and branch chairman.

John - an attitude like that is going to ensure that UKIP stays in the political abyss.
We need to change to improve and simple saying everyone who doesn't have the same views as you or a few political elitists at the top should 'leave' demonstrates exactly why this party has the problems it has!

Nigel - spot on mate.... it's you, I and everyone else on this board who are the backbone too this party.

Some very poorly thought out portions in this - particularly the bit from the start to the finish. Traffic lights on roundabouts to flashing amber? whats that all about?

'Torn to pieces' - if we're lucky!

Good job it (apparently) has been rejected.

EVERYBODY - write your own manifesto and send it in to the leadership - they need all the help they can get on this one!

Judges will retain their independence but should be aware of the views of the local communities in which they sit.

What the hell does that mean? he should take a public Q&A session before passing sentance?

If the Judge is aware that the local community is mostly Muslim, does that mean he can get a thief's hand chopped off?

Suggest you check that.
Also check how many new members Ashford Office has recruited since April.

Note that £5,000 was sent to Hartlepool for the by election and during that election period the Asford Office rec'd zero funds while telephoning Hartlepool folks.

Check that figure.

Also please note that the hours of all paid personnel at the Ashford Office have been reduced as there are insufficient funds to pay full-time wages. This for the period prior to probably the most expensive time of the year.

Check that also.

And when you have checked, by ringing Terry Quarterman at the Ashford Office, post back here your findings.

For the second time here is the number: 01233 631133

Terry is still awaiting your call ...
