I have to say that I don't see a problem with her tone particularly. Mr Moss is clearly making a complaint to her, and questioning her competence as chairman. I think that his tone was fairly rude, and it is therefore entirely understandable if she isn't as cordial as he might wish.

Ms Holdsworth has to maintain the peace, and I can certainly see that she might be defensive if people are circulating unfounded rumours. Given the atmosphere in the party, I think that we all need to be a little more patient with each other.

Email isn't great for conveying meaning at the best of times, so, as on this forum, we need to give people the benefit of the doubt.

As for the issues themselves, I can see both sides, and I don't think that we need to make judgements at this time.

These have also been sent -

Petrina.

Why are you so aggressive with people?
The guy only asked a question, one that is on the minds of many of us activists. I know from recent meetings with you what the stategy is, but Daniel obviously didnt. Next time someone asks you a question, please try to be a little more polite and responsive.

Thank You

John

I now understand fully why she spoke as she did. I would have probably been the same.

Nigel Garage is an anagram of Angela Greig.

I hope this helps.

If Petrina was being 'Rude' this guy needs to get a life. The thing that is contrary is by stirring things up he is helping the Tories which is his general accusation towards the 'Cabal'. Sorry Mr Garage, 'Park' your complaint in File 13. A Tory mole causing problems where there is none?

I must say I am getting rather fed up with 'Nigel Garage' and his constant attacks on the leadership. Change the record please! Why don't you reveal your real name and have the courage of your convictions!
The fact remains that any leadership bid would take months, cost thousands and would leave us with only a few weeks to fight the election.
I was taking to Mr Titford yesterday about this and he confirmed it, as did David Lott. Did you know Jeffrey spent 48 hours trying to reach a compromise with Kilroy? Every offer made was refused. Kilroy wants the top job and nothing else. He will not even stay in same hotel as the other UKIP MEPs. Is this the man you want as leader? Do you think a new leader could make a diffrence in such a short time? Do you want thousands spent on the general election or a leadership bid? Do you want a leadership bid to overshadow the election campaign? Do you want the media to portray us as just a party infighting and not worth a vote? I can only question the motives of those pushing this.
Roger, Nigel and Jeffrey have done a hell of a lot for UKIP over the last few years. Show them some respect, please.
