The European Union is seeking to subsume Britain INTO phpbb_a European superstate. It will mean a reduced level of services in Britain (because we will be subsidising much poorer countries), a loss of freedoms (the EU is slowly turning INTO phpbb_a police state) and a loss of democracy (the EU is one of the most corrupt and least democratic governing organisations in the world).

UKIP supporters want to protect Britain from this bleak future for as long as possible, and perhaps remove us from it entirely in the future. The main three parties are giving away our freedom; we want it back.

Default doc_cruel - wake up, see the truth

Scared of Europe, give us a break. It's not fear, its distrust, its suspicion, its pride and confidence in what we were and can be.

What qualifications do European and eastern european (EU_SSR) socialist republics have to govern anyone, especially Britain with its far superior legacy of democratic government.

Look at the following list of shame, all of it in living memory: Germany (Hitler), Spain (Franco), Italy (Mussolini and about 50 new governments since the war), Russia (Stalin, Andopov, Yeltsin, Putin(KGB)), Romania (Ceaucescu), Yugoslavia (Tito, Milosovich). France (Chirac). Anyone who cannot see shame in Europe's calibre to run any government needs a health check.

That twit Heseltine just said the EU is a great project because it is preventing war. The twit doesnt realise that Britain has not caused any of the wars in Europe in living memory, quite the contrary, we have been Europes saviour. So noone should use the 'peace in our time' as any justification for Britain being a part of the EU. The wars were always their fault, never Britains.

Even France's republic was borne of violent terrorism, socialist pograms of the ruling class, nothing to be proud of there, and 1789 was not that long ago - how people forget.

If you are suggesting we need to be there to keep the warring factions apart I say to hell with them.

We have better things to do and better friends across the Atlantic and Pacific

I have to ask why the original poster has bothered to sign up to troll. I would suggest his lady/man friend isn't getting any kind of attention.

LP2004 - there was no question, it was a plain unadulterated statement.

Mr Heseltine looks to the EU as a means of preventing war. It didnt stop the horrifc events in the Balkans right on Europes doorstep. In response to DOC I simply say there is no more important right than that of who governs. Incidently i dont have a wife to give attention to but even if did I am sure she would agree with me on the subject of EU withdrawal as did millions of others this June!
