Default British Europhile Politicians should face Inquisition?

I think that should UKIP ever get INTO phpbb_power, all British politicians who have had a significant role in leading or tying Britain INTO phpbb_Europe should stand trial and be publically humilliated for their actions.

All the legislation that would have classified them as traitors should be dug up, reinstated and certainly some of them should be found guilty.

I am not proposing they be sentenced. I think finding them guilty should be punishment enough. Heath, Thatcher (sadly, though we may be able to get her off the hook for other good deeds), Blair certainly, Kinnock certainly, Kennedy. I want to see them treated as the traitors they have been.

I think this idea is pretty unusual, it may put off would be ukip supporters.
I dont really agree with it, I see it as pretty pointless, Id be thankful that we were in a situation to sort the country out.

There are many people roaming our streets that have done worse than wanting Britain to have an active role in the EU (No matter how much I disagree with it). And would we be a democratic party if we basically threaten opposition parties with that fact that if we gain power we will have a mock hearing to see whether they are guilty, or not of being traitors.

Default define traitor

Either handing political power to a foreign government is treason or it isn't, it is by every definition that I learnt at school.

While I wouldn't want to be vindictive about it, there are certain key people who have willfully tried to sell this country down the river. Edward Heath being top of my hit list, followed closely by the current shower of Tony and his cronies. I think they should be tried for treason as a warning to anyone in the future who tries to do the same.

If the people vote "no" in a referendum and the government ignores the will of the people and tries to proceed, trials might be in order.

I don't know if you all would want to use these as symbols of your resistance, but I thought I'd just throw them out there.

The snake and motto can be transferred to the Union Jack, the snake could be replaced by a more British animal, and I read this motto and liked it: "Nemo me impune lacesset", which they translated as "no one wounds me with impunity."

I think that we could probably do without a witch hunt. If UKIP is to be taken seriously, the case against the EU must be a sound and well reasoned argument. We must be able to win over the existing politicians wherever possible as well.

Making it INTO phpbb_a more emotional crusade would be unhelpful to the cause I think.
