Default Wireless USB Adapters

Greetings folks,

My wireless USB adapter for the desktop PC died recently. As such, I'm in the market for a new one. Ideally I want one that will work with any Linux distro, any suggestions?

If that's not possible I need one that works with both Fedora 9 and openSUSE 11.0. Compatibility with Mandriva and Ubuntu would be nice, but not essential.

Connecting to the network via ethernet cable is not an option.
