Why so negative

I suppose you had to be there . So did any of you see the giant elephant a couple of years ago in London by the same French company?

Default Ruined City

I have always been a big fan of liverpool and luv the people. But I am appalled at the way the council has attemped to destroy the character of the city. They are demolishing grade two listed buildings and building horrid skyscrapers near to the Three graces to dwarf that World Heritage Site. The Museum of liverpool is gointg to obscure the view looking towards the graces from Wapping area.
Hw many votes do the Councillors get? I suggest they have no legitimacy to ruin peoples towns and cities. They offer themselves for election as representatives of local people then immediately betray their interests and act as agents for dvelopers. Liverpool once had character, now it is like every where else.

I agree with you, but no matter what they do they cannot change the Liverpool people. Most councillors betray the interests of those they represent, they not in the game to please people but to shaft them at every opportunity usally by selling us out to developers and big business. I think Liverpool still has character though.
