To those who haven't seen any of his work might I recommend his latest Magnetic North the opener which was about the Hanseatic League and the influences it has had was excellent.
One good quote in there was to do with trade and libertarianism which would make a good rallying cry. He did point out that the traders hated to be at war themselves but would sell arms to anyone for a profit plus ca change
