Oneword - the speech-based radio station which broadcasts on digital radio, via satellite, over the internet and on 'Freeview' (set-top box) channel 717 - is to shut down by midnight tonight

Oneword - a radio channel for discussion and book-readings - has been broadcasting for several years.

They're doing a programme "The Best of Oneword" from midnight to 6.01 am - I assume that will be their very last programme and then they will shut down.

It seems that the owner of Oneword may keep their slot on 'Freeview' (set top-box - channel 717) and may launch another radio station instead.
