Racism in 'Desperate Housewives'

I watched an episode the other night in which they referred to the English chap (although Dougray Scott is Scottish) as 'Fish and Chips'. Since we all now know that referring to Indian people as Poppadom is racist (courtesy of Shilpa and Jade), I felt obliged to be morally outraged.

Surely this makes it 'tit-for-tat'.

Let us (as English and British people) set a precendent of 'rising above' playing the 'race card'.

It will give less cause for others to do so and make them look desperate!

As mentioned in another thread English isn't a race, it's a nationality.

I think though it only matters for the people
who are offended "On behalf of" if you get
my drift, I'm in Switz and get called Roosbif
(Roast beef obviously, but that's how they
say it and spell it on sandwich packets)
every day, don't bother me, would do if
if they called me "Slag war mongering Brit"
It's like I would have no problem in identifying
a group of Pakistanis as ****'s or Australians as
Aussies or Scots as Jocks etc.
Depends on what you want to imply by it,
or how you want it to be percieved.

Word filter has blocked my Pakistani adjective,
but I hope you's get my point.
