This is a lovely and powerful song. I have actually spoken with this guy online and what a good and passionate singer he is. Wonderful stuff.

Besides, I am not a fan of assimilating music with politics as personally I’m not the brand of musician and song writer that reads the news and thinks, you know what? I must write about this or that going on in the world or in this country. So I am unquestionably not a Bono so to speak. Music to me is about getting away and transcending the empirical world, not getting pegged down by it and all its quandaries. So the nucleus of my lyrics have been occult {purely fantasy}, nature, folklorist stories, love, heartache…never political affairs of any sort as its mind numbing and tedious to me. Laconically expressed, art is a far,far higher and nobler expression than politics will ever wish to be. So consequently for my part I would rather leave politics to the politician in this regard. Music belongs purely to the world of the emotions and feelings maybe the only real true world, so to speak.

So I strongly dislike NSBM for the reasons I’ve stated above.

Hey, good for you, GG. I write and paint with the same approach as you. If you can't use creative skills to make something beautiful or positive, or that can be gifted to the world to inspire beyond the mere present then what you are doing is not art.
