I stole this from another forum
Ibuprofen is a NSAID (Nurofen is merely a brand name) and is an antipyretic, anti inflammation analgesic

Ibuprofen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Paracetomol is analgesic and antipyretic

Paracetamol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

another reason to avoid NSAID drugs is that they will upset your stomach and can give you an ulcer - why I can no longer take them
paracetomol can rip your liver to shreds

20 years ago when I worked for Boots I could tell you more then you would ever want to know about OTC medicines

Any azo dye should not be ingested why pharmaceutical companies continue to use can only be guessed at but perhaps it helps bring in more customers

I dont know if this is true or not, i recieved it in an email from a freind (yes i do have friends......... er...well.... i have got one.

I have to say that it would not surprise me one iota and come summer, we can all try the test of leaving the Maggy ann out in the sun and watch for flies. I'l do a bit of research on the web, all the required info is shure to be there........er....i think.
I don't know that it is true.

Margarine is generic term for butter substitutes.

So I looked at a few of the details on a tub of the spread regularly use.
Butter has about 1.5 times the calories, not the same amount.
Saying that butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine seems to me a bit of poetic licence in the use of the word slightly. I don't think many would see 60% as a slight difference.
The spread we use has less than one third of the saturates and three quarters of the salt of butter. And virtually no trans fatty acids.

    The comment:
And here is the interesting part and HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING! [/B] Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC...
must surely be seen as sensationalist and of very dubious relevance.
As a simple example, one molecule of H2O is one atom away from one molecule H2S. Totally different.

Very interesting stuff here guys, but the acid test will be come summer time, if in the warm weather, it does not attract flies, there is something very very, in fact frighteningly scary.

Likewise if it does not grow mouldy, very worrying, but you trust nature to put you right, if flies wont touch it and neither will it grow mould, its got to be iffy.

It depends on the definition of "plastic" after all they are but long chain polymers and what are we composed of ?

I wish people would be more careful about what they eat & what medicines they take. The consumer is the ultimate testing ground and much has been done to pollute the human organism for easy cash. I question everything .. with a steely eye & Doctors hate me (on the rare occasion they see me that is). And yes NEVER eat margarine.

I doubt that any proprietary brand or own label paracetamol based infant and child pain killer does not contain something a little nasty either a preservative, colour or other unwelcome ingredient
