Default Vicar pleads guilty to child porn charges!

A Vicar who presided over a Bocking congregation for 11 years has pleaded guilty to possessing more than 1,000 indecent images of children.
Appearing at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday, Trevor Diaper, 58, admitted six charges of making indecent images of children, including photos and moving photos, and a further charge of possessing 1,145 indecent images of children.
The images, found on his computer, ranged from the least serious level one images to level four images, which are rated as the second most serious.
The prosecution has decided not to proceed with a further seven counts of indecent assault against a child, which Diaper, former vicar at St Peter's Church in St Peter's Road, had denied.
Diocese spokesperson Ralph Meloy said: "The diocese of Chelmsford and the Church of England are shocked and saddened that a clergyman has fallen so far short of the standards expected.

Yet another disgusting member of the Church who gets his kicks from watching child paedophilia, and he is not the first and he definitely won't be the last to fall so far short of the standards expected........
Why do we get so many cases of priests and vicars who have practiced some form of paedophilia in this country?
Perverted monsters like him should be nailed to the cross......

I think it is becoming more and more clear that organised Christianity as it stands today in this country is a problem that needs to be at some point dealt with.

Islam is not just ready and waiting but highly active across the land. I trust that meets your satisfaction.

If not I think you need to tell us a bit more about your thoughts about the 'problem' of Christianity. Thanks.

There's nothing new about this, sadly.

The churches have always attracted such people. Must be the choirboys.

The very act of exposing a child to religion is child abuse.

To brainwash a young and impressionable mind with the utter hogwash that forms religions, ALL religions, is nothing short of criminal.

As with all forms of child abuse it leaves mental scars and handicaps to rationality and all based on nonsense.

    Absolutely not.

Nor exposed to religion in any form other than as a fairy story that brings out some good morality. It's what we did and to good effect, though it did hack off a couple of school teachers!

I think that kids need to be able to categorise religion as a fairy story in the same way that Santa Claus is a fairy story in order to protect them from the propaganda of those who do (irrationally and delusionally) "believe" and who will want to infect the young with their own “memes”.

If you’ve not encountered “memes” the Wiki entry is a good start at Meme - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia .

I am married, and have been since 1976, but a church wedding? No way.

just wondered - most people who are anti-religion still tend to use the church for weddings, baptism and funerals. I think having some kind of faith is a good thing, but I totally agree with what you say about brainwashing. God shouldn't been seen as a bearded man sitting on a throne in heaven. God can be whatever you want IT to be.

Well of course, sexual deviants are bound to be attracted to places where children are but there are deviants occupying probably the vast majority of the proffessions within this land, we hear more about the priests because of course that tickles peoples fancies more and sells more papers.
