The BBC confirmed that it had borrowed £25 million under the deal with the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. A spokesman said it had recently submitted an application to borrow the remaining £75 million. The EIB proudly declares that its mission is to "finance capital investment furthering European integration by promoting EU policies" News Report
