The lady that helped me out with the above is an extremely intelligent German-English teacher of spiky-helmeted origin. Who will, undoubtedly, have much more of a grip on the grammatical proprieties than you do.

I suppose that not understanding German and still trying to make some point is in keeping with not understanding other things but still expressing opinions on them …. With the same rather sad results.

Ah well, never mind, there’s something to be said for consistency.

Ah but grammar, even the dreadful GERMAN grammar does change with common usage despite the best attempts of The Old School! Actually the error in the use is a rather glaring example not untypical of the sort of thing a schoolboy would do.

Ich glaube als native German speaker muss ich mir von Ihnen nicht sagen lassen, was im Deutschen grammatikalisch richtig ist oder nicht.

Wann ich fluche oder wen ich - wenn nötig - beschimpfe, auch das ist meine Sache. Auch wenn ich im Prinzip gut erzogen bin. In diesem Fall habe ich gerne einem Freund ausgeholfen.

Sie machen in jedem Fall einen aufgeblasenen Eindruck und schmeißen mit Dingen um sich, von denen Sie offensichtlich NICHTS verstehen.

Kennen Sie den? Man sollte nicht mit Steinen schmeißen, wenn man im Glashaus sitzt.
