I do not normally post e-mail correspondence, but as you will see from the quoted exchange I was induced to answer certain questions on the basis they would be posted on a blog. The blogger concerned, having got the answers he wanted as you can see from the first quoted e-mail, has declined to post the e-mails. I make no comment about the contents that speak for themselves. I would caution anyone from dealing with the individual concerned.

You are perfectly free to do as you wish. I have now no intention of
posting them. The intention was to confirm certain things I had been
told and I have now done that. I have also just spoken to someone from
your group who contacted me and I am content the information supplied to
me is accurate. It would however be unfair to post this information
whilst I am banned but that is again a matter for you.

As I contacted you at your request some time ago, it comes as no surprise
that you have my e-mail address. As you rightfully point out it is in any
event public for all to see; why would it be otherwise?

I will answer the questions as best I can, if you will answer some of mine.

1. No. It is none of your business what sort of house I live in of course.
Is it relevant? Does UKIP look down on people who live in council houses?
My wife was a coal miner's daughter who was brought up in a council house.
Does that satsify your prejudices?

2. Which business? I am self-employed and have run a number of home based
and small businesses, some more successful than others.

3. There are several ex-RAF personnel on BDF who served at the same time as
me. Is there one in particular that you are referring to?

4. No. I received 50% of the votes cast following the Witney hustings. I
have the confidence of my branch chairman who would have cast his vote for
me had the rules he wrote not discounted 40% of my votes and only 30% of my
opponent's, thereby placing me in the absurd position of having been
supported by the majority of the branch, but not being the candidate. I
thought I'd explained this clearly on the forum, but you don't seem to
understand. I have never heard the words you use used against me before to
the best of my knowledge and cannot think of an occasion where they would be
apposite.

5. Mr Feal-Martinez, you did libel me quite seriously. The post has been
removed and when you were banned you were given the reason 'serious libel'
in the banning message. If you do not understand how your contrived use of
other people's words, taken out of context, can consitute a libel then I
would suggest you read up on the law. You were banned electronically, as
with so many others. You have a reason.

Now, Mr Feal-Martinez, we come to the good bit.

You accuse others of dealing in lies, rumours and innuendo. You intend to
post the questions, pejorative though they may be, on your Swindon Blog, no
doubt with what you consider to be balanced and erudite comments.

You have referred on the forum to having received an e-mail concerning me.
Who was it from? Will you post it in its entirety, as you believe it to be
true, on your blog? More likely, will you continue to deal in lies,
innuendo and rumour yourself?

You say, and I have included the 2 typos and one solecism as you wrote them,

Are you going to 'allege' I live in a council house as if it were some sort
of crime? Do you despise people who live in council houses and see them as
lesser people following from your time as a police sergeant?

Are you going to allege that an unnamed business went bust in an unspecified
way on an unspecified date as if I am the only one this has happened to and
it is a crime? I'd be careful if I were you, the licensing trade is being
squeezed and you might be the next publican to close your doors permanently.

Are you going to allege that I was in the Royal Air Force and served
alongside several people who support UKIP? Is that a crime as well?

Are you going to allege that I got less votes than the candidate who was
selected?

I am not going to restate the libel as you will post it on your blog. You
were a policeman, you should know better than to allege serious crimes that
you cannot prove beyond reasonable doubt in a court of law.

I would like to think you will answer the questions I pose as you purport to
be honest, decent and transparent, but if you won't tell me the name of the
anonymous, to me, e-mailer and copy me in to his scurrilous allegations then
I will know you are a hypocrite. One law for Bob FM and his mates and one
law for everyone else, eh?
