On 11 July 2008, The Daily Mail quoted Tommy Gallagher, Vice-Chairman of the Friends of Old Trafford community group, thus:

THE BLACK POWER MOVEMENT WAS ASSOCIATED WITH VIOLENCE...

It was commissioned by ENVIRONMENTAL CHARITY GROUNDWORK with funding from the GOVERNMENT'S SAFER STRONGER COMMUNITIES FUND for deprived areas and THE EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND...

Tina Blake, Groundwork's community programme manager, said:

Here is the £15,000 sculpture that our government, the EU and the Groundwork types wanted us to "celebrate good community relations" with:

Wow, I didn't realise whites were considered equal in a multi-cultural Britain. Didn't think anyone would mind or even care that much.

Norfolk has no shortage of idiots. In fact there’s quite a hotbed of BNP activity.

For those who may not know a ”hotbed” is an agricultural method of forcing vegetables to grow by placing them in a decomposing manure base.

Sort of fits a BNP cell when you think about it!
