, , , One day at school in a classroom, there was a teacher explaining to the students that there is no God.She told one boy to look out the window. She asked the boy : Do you see the grass? Yes. Do you see the sky? Yes. Do you see God? No. We can't see God therefore there is no God. A girl stood up and asked the teacher if she could ask the students some questions. The teacher allowed her to do so. The girl told the same boy to look out the window . The boy was very annoyed because he had to get up from his seat again to go look out the window She started to ask him some questions: Do you see the grass? Yes Do you see the sky? Yes Do you see the teacher's head? Yes Do you see her brain? No. Does that mean she doesn't have one? , , , { so what do you think about this short story ![]() I'll be waiting for your posts ?} ,, ![]() |

Welcome to the forum Optimistic!
The anecdote illustrates that (IMO) atheism is a faith [that there is no God]. I once saw this bumper sticker posted on a friend's Facebook profile: CHRISTIANITY: In the beginning, there was a supreme being. Which created everything. ATHEISM: In the beginning, there was nothing. Which exploded. ![]() |

At least it's based on evidence and not antediluvian (lit) superstition! ![]()

I also don’t see how holding such a view has anything to do with a belief in any god one way or another. In fact having a belief in god in the case of some religions explicitly precluded the provision of such equality of opportunities.

Instead, an ordered hierarchy is revealed. Your tinpot view is typical of leftists down the ages and it is contrary to the Judeo-Christian scriptures. We need order, discipline and decency; not the immorality and licence you propose. |

Perhaps the finest and most aesthetically-pleasing manifestation of an ordered and hierarchical state is to be found in France under Louis XIV. In its day the British Empire shared some of the same characteristics. Democracy was its downfall, however. For me the ideal of the balanced, hierarchical state is to be found in the Second Empire of Napoleon III |
