This what happens when a country that is wealthy opens its doors to people from poor countries. The other factor is our elites constant portray our young women as objects of pleasure for men. Soaps show their younger female cast as objects to arouse desire and break down the social inhibitions to grooming young girls. Those who do this are not innocent television producers and writers but know what they are doing and must be punished. Jim Branning’s daughter Lauren (EE) (born 29th March 1994), usually wears a very short dress; Lucy Beale (EE), (born 9 December 1993) looks as though she was wears a push-up bra. On Coronation Street Kevin Webster’s daughter Sophie's breasts almost fall out of her top and she is about 14. Contemporary art and entertainment is creating a climate where our young women are only worth sex. Parents who watch these programmes should be ashamed of themselves and realise what is being done to their children. I heard a man with an 11 year-old daughter lusting over Sophie Webster!

I’ve got one, she’s in her mid 20’s now but when she was around 14 she and all her mates invariably went around in short skirts and Selotape’d boobs to try to give the impression of cleavage, and all sorts of daft things.

It’s part of growing up for them.

david H, It's not just our elites portraying women as sex objects. The poor have been liberated by the Internet and are doing it also. Just because someone is sexually attractive doesn't mean she has to be raped or that she shouldn't look pretty for blokes.

There are 2 separate issues here. One is personal morality - whether we should have page 3 or porn or brothels - and the other is compelling children and young women to participate in sexual acts against their will.

I think we should have consensual porn and brothels; I think all compulsion should be treated harshly by the authorities, especially where children are involved. The problem is the seeming lack of will to tackle gangs that pimp trafficked women. The nature of a lot of trafficking is that it is cross border and by definition involves different nationalities and ethnicities. The countries that don't have proper controls in place are the most vulnerable and I include us in that.

It does seem that some cultures that would not allow their own women to have sex outside of marriage have created a demand for sex for the blokes that cannot be dealt with by forming healthy relationships with women. People brought up in a culture that discourages heterosexual social contact of a quasi-sexual nature, such as dancing, snogging, chatting up etc, will not know how to build relationships and will seek sexual gratification with the unfortunate victims of this trade. They see all other cultures as inferior and will therefore have no qualms about compulsion or violence towards the women who are also of a lower social order. It is a terrible indictment on the men who do this. The fact that the girls are alleged to have up to 40 partners in a working day says even more about these so called 'men'. They must be pretty useless at sex if they get change out of an hour, but that's another matter altogether.

The partthe elites play is the constant criticising of white working class people as lazy, to justify importing cheaplabour, and presenting the young woman as sexual objects has destroyed their sense of self worth and they behave as yobs or tarts. Haven't you noticed this on television? They present themselves in this way on the internet in this way because the elites have destroyed their self worth.

I have no daughters but often have a night out in city centres and am constantly horrified at young women staggering through the streets, collapsing and hitting their heads on the pavements. I have seen several stretchered away. They lob their boobs out to stop cars for lifts and have no idea whose cars they are getting into. There are many raped evey weekend and don't know who did it if they can even remember that.
