My name is Peter from America, so today I thought to share a bit of secret information. I am visually impaired and a peron that uses a speech synthesizer found at
http://www.gmicro.com. I find it hard to spell certain words because I don't have the benefit as do you normal sighted individuals take forgranted. I do research at times for certain classes, but it's harder on me. For example, alternative formats e.g microsoft word or adobe pdf files converting those to the print numbers is hard to do if not impossible. Also I am trying to find a way to spell and in general to become a better english writer. I hold no illusions in knowing that in general people born in the U.K are very intelligent people especially in english and in science. What are some advise (s) you would give to someone in my perdictament? I am just trying to do a bit of social networking to resolve these problems before the fall semester into a four year school. I graduated from a small community college with my associates. I just want to become a scholar and I find it extremely hard. I even though about at one time to try a school in England, however, I think it's going to be far too expensive for my poor american figure to muster. Thanks for any and all information pertaining to my anxieties and rest assured that if anyone could figure it out is you fine gentlemen and ladies.
My hat goes out to you,
Peter
