Perhaps it's time we had an opinion survey then. Few of the people I know are pro-homo. Why should they be?

You don't have to e PRO homosexual, simply devoutly Christian, pro human and anti bigotry and those things the old man certainly was.

Quite apart, he held to the opinion that God hated sin, not sinners, and that the hatred of one man of another was a sin in itself.

Firstly safe anal sex among heterosexuals or homosexuals is nothing shocking or horrible. Secondly heteroexuals can have vaginal sex, homosexual men cannot, hence heterosexuals would do it less regularly. It would probably be something special among couples.
