I see that the slimy degenerate who plays a woman in the inane drivel 'Little Britain' is to be 'divorced' by the specimen he 'married' a couple of years ago.
In a more healthy era this creature would have been tarred, feathered, and thrown into the nearest cesspool. In still earlier times he would have suffered the fate of Piers Gaveston. Still, it's good to hear that his erstwhile catamite is about to royally rip off his ill-gotten gains. Last edited by Mikeuk; 19-06-2008 at 06:55 PM. |

Both lead actors play women in Little Britain. I thought gender-swapping had a long history in theatre and entertainment?
You are offensive and insulting (I know that's nothing new to you) and haven't yet provided a reason for your evident homophobia. You seem to think that his personal choice of whom he loves is worthy of inhuman status and treatment. So why?

I don't have to. I don't like it. It's also condemned by the Bible.
Do you have to answer for your personal likes and dislikes? I mean you may have a big yellow tricycle with a horn rather than a cute red one with a bell, but your choice is between you and daddy - nothing to do with me. I can remember when that crowd were locked up. They should be damned glad we no longer do that. (Mind you they got all the sex they wanted in gaol) |

Since religion has been brought into this I’m going to take a line from The Book of Common Prayer.
“Man that is born of a woman hath but a short time to live, and is full of misery. He cometh up, and is cut down, like a flower; he fleeth as it were a shadow, and never continueth in one stay.” Life is short. It’s been described as a flash of consciousness between two bouts of pain in an eternity of oblivion. If a person within that flash of consciousness can find a little love and happiness then so long as it doesn’t adversely affect others why on earth should he or she not do so. Homosexuality isn’t for me, I can imagine few more revolting things than cuddling up to some man, but it is for some other people. Do we, any of us, have the right to condemn such people so long as they are not harming us, or do they have the right to condemn us so long as we are not harming them? When all is said and done such people have the same feelings that we do, it’s simply that they have those feelings, the emotions, the desires that we have, but for a person of the same sex as themselves. I feel sorry for Matt Lucas and his partner in that their relationship has failed. I hope they both find what happiness they can in the future, goodness only knows it’s no easy job to find happiness as it is without being a member of a minority.

I have just as much right to state my reactions as Junior has to bleat endlessly about the BNP. He doesn't like the BNP; I don't like buggery. It's a personal lifestyle choice. Personally I'm happy to let them get on with whatever it is they do as long as they keep a low profile and don't demand 'equality' with the rest of us. That has been the very sensible approach of the French for over 200 years. Here we have gone from the extreme of persecuting homos to persecuting >>"homophobes"<< within one generation. Less than 20 years ago I was interviewed as a 'Monday Club spokesman' by Radio Solent. No doubt hoping for an Alf Garnett style reaction the interviewer asked me what I thought about the current spate of homos being kicked out of the Navy in disgrace. I replied that I would tolerate them as long as they kept their activities confidential and off Navy property. |
