I am sorry you feel this way Clippo.

I shall decline to respond to you actual comments in view of the unfortunate tone you have used against me in posting 19 to this thread.

b) With others who disagree with me, all I ask is that they provide scientific fact to back up their opinions if it is a scientific subject. In other matters, political etc., I'm perfectly happy to accept the fact other people have views which may be different to mine.

To repeat, as in all debate, I only ask that people give rational reasons for their views.

Perhaps you, who have posted only 22 times in nearly 2 years, and who thinks that my post is 'angry' should research many of the current & old posts before you draw judgement.
You may be surprised to learn that I have read most of your posts Clippo and am still going through them along with the posts of many others.Your aggression is obvious to me but the reason why is not.Assuming things like me seldom posting also means that I am unaware of you was your first mistake, your second was your rudeness to me in your last paragraph.IT WOULD SEEM THAT YOU ARE WHAT SOME SAY YOU ARE ON HERE,THAT IS,AN IGNORANT BAD MANNERED GW TROLL.GOODBYE.

Well, I might understand some of the things you wrote above if it was in credible grammar.

How am I to understand that load of illogical garbage? - my 'last paragraph' was directed at Jeff with 22 posts over nearly 2 years, not you, Keyser Soze, as you imply. Are you one and the same?

It would seem that you are hoist by your own petard :Lol::Lol:

Explanation accepted. (However, I get very suspicious when any poster here has 2, (or even more current accounts), - it could be construed as an attempt to decieve).

Please don't confuse 'angry' with 'sharp riposte' in my posts. Britannist & I have a long history of disagreement and disagreeable exchanges - as he has had with others and indeed so have I -and judging by the complaints section so have many other pairs of posters.
I'll leave this topic there now.

I suspect that the real reason why people are leaving is not because of the BNP posters, but simply down to the fact that UKIP is no longer a viable organisation worth fighting for in the minds of many, and it is easier to hide away elsewhere away from those that might point out its flaws and failures.

Let's be honest, if the results in London and the locals this May had been more favourable to UKIP, it would be the BNP on its back foot and its supporters giving up the ghost, at least in some cases. UKIPers would be rocking and rolling all over the place had UKIP maintained or even increased its London Assembly tally from 2004, but it didn't and with Farage's position likely to become more and more fragile especially if UKIP do not deliver in the next few by-elections, then I can quite understand UKIPers going elsewhere where they can lick their wounds in relative comfort.

I don't mean this to be harsh or critical, just how it seems to me. I have said before that I have known many good UKIP people over the years, more rather than less who have since left and often simply drifted away from politics altogether. It is a shame, and the likes of Farage and the rest of the dinosaur elite in charge of UKIP are to blame completely, not the BNP, who will simply gloat - and that is really quite natural - I'm sure UKIP would do the same, as would the EDP or anyone.

I've seen the forum change lot over the past few years. The forum used to enjoy a good mix of people and we even had contributors from the 3 main parties (among others), but it has since descended into squalor IMO.

The forum is overrun with BNP supporters and nationalists, and petty bickering (esp. in the E&E section) is the order of the day.

I have seen many of my favourite contributors disappear in the last few days - esp. mkp, John Connor, Hartlepool, Kernow and Tito, which has made the situation worse.

To those who remain - esp. 22ANDUK, Alex McKee, Akria, Smidgey, Steve Fowler, C_Steam, Superior Steve, Aardvark, Unionist, English Unionist, rjt, and of course Anthony Butcher - I wish you all the best.

To any true UKIPers who remain, I wish you the best of luck in the fight against the BNP on this forum.

A special mention for Britannist, whose posts have never been short of excellent and informative. Britannist does this forum a great service.

Also a special mention for YCHTT - we might not have agreed most of the time, but your posts were always interesting.

If anyone wishes to remain in contact, you'll find me over at Real Democracy, or you can send me a PM.

I might drop in occasionally to have a read, but for the forseeable future this will be my last posting to the forum.

It's been a good 3 years, and perhaps I'll return in the future and still find you all here .

I wish you all the very best,

Westcountryman/Eurosceptic Altanticist/ModernUKIP/ModernTory.
