Bye folks and good luck with your projects.

Having seen the quality of the posts on repatriation and other nonsense that seems to have appeared as of late it's no surprise I guess .

I look in every day to pick up anything genuinely informative or interesting and simply ignore the rubbish.

I am very sorry to read that you are to end posting to this forum, Westcountryman. With your departure the forum is losing one of its best contributors. I admire your pro-democracy, pro-freedom and pro-sovereignty views and the absence of your interesting postings from the pages of this forum is already being felt.

A clear majority of those who used to post here regularly but who have stopped doing so are anti-EU and all of the people who have written here in recent days that they are to stop posting here are anti-EU. In contrast, most of the people who have started posting here as new contributors in recent months are either europhiles or are just not interested in the subject of getting our sovereignty back from the EU.

As well as the problem of europhile trolls trying to disrupt threads here, the forum would also be better of without one person - a supporter of the claim that there is global warming - who posts to the Environment section and who appears to have the wrong attitude to those with whom he disagrees on the climate change issue.

I want to thank you for your comments (above), Westcountryman - I am very grateful and your kind words are much appreciated.

I am pleased that I shall still be able to read postings from you on current affairs on the pages of the Real Democracy forum, Westcountryman. This forum's loss of your regular contributions is Real Democracy Forum's gain.

Sorry to read that you are to end posting to the forum Steve. This is not a good time for the forum with quite a few regular anti-EU contributors - including yourself - quitting. I have enjoyed reading your postings here, Steve. Your 100% total opposition to the EU and your commitment to getting our sovereignty back from the EU is to be admired.

Thank you for your kind words (above), Steve. I am very grateful for your kind comments and I am glad that some of my postings here have helped you with your admirable campaign against the EU.

You mention Australia in your posting number five to this thread, Steve. Bear in mind, Steve, that if you were ever to go abroad you could still stay in touch with the UK anti-EU movement through websites and through overseas membership of British anti-EU groups.

Regards and all the best Steve - Britannist.

Why do you really think this is Brittainist ?

Call me a conspiracy loon if you like, but I have thought for a long time(in fact I know) that a lot of "individuals" who come on here(naming no names but I can if you want me to ) are lower level government agents whose intention is to try to disrupt groups/networks who are trying to work towards liberty and stop any strength in the form of a united anti-EU or truth based front.

A large majority are morons but you also get more intelligent individuals who claim they are anti-EU, anti government but then support every single pro-EU, pro government policy These are the more intelligent ones who use deception tactics to appear to provide the "rational" "common sense" arguments we see in the mainstream media every day.

I don't know if you find it difficult to beleive they are her for that purpose or not, but certainly it has had the (un)desired effect because people are leaving en masse.

Is there any way we can call on the moderators to introduce a scheme where posters are made accountable for their statements ?

What I mean is that there are a lot of lies/propaganda told on this forum and people are simply getting away with being able to post them.

Does anyone know why the moderators are so passive ? Is it because they have no agenda except "democracy" ?
If so I have some sympathy with this view.

Yes it's difficult to think how it could work, but we should maybe consider a framework in which we define what is acceptable and what is not.

However I suppose it depends whether this forum is a "democracy forum" or a "liberty" or an "anti-EU" forum.

Opinions more than welcome........

I think he really does beleive though ! (Though I may be wrong)

He is completely wrong about it of course......

On the high probability that this may be me referred to, I have to say that Britannist has just re-proved what an ill-informed person of no rational judgement he seems to be.

Re:- GW, britannist has never been able to get over the psychological hurdle that the infamous EU can’t actually influence science. Therefore, because his arguments make no sense, he descends into anti EU troll name-calling.

If he had any political nous about him perhaps he might have realised that there are other ‘areas’ in this forum and other forums where more rational political debate has occurred and where my anti-EU views have been expressed.

I suggest, Britannist , that you send a few exploratory pms to a) Anthony Butcher, b) most of the mods for a start and then even perhaps visit RealDemocracy.

You may find that I have tried, on a much greater practical level, to combat the ‘EU’ than your pathetic rantings.

Westcountryman,
I see you may be posting in Realdemocracy in future. I look forward to debating with you there – (I have also been a member there since its’ inception). I think you may find my approach there somewhat different to my input here which has been the result of bitter experience.

I must agree with Clippo there. It was another poster who has recently left and enjoyed calling everyone else fascist alot who seemed to be causing most of the disruption.
