Hi guys, first time poster long time lurker

I wondered if someone could answer a quick question for me

What is the correct terminology for a democratic system where the people vote on all the big decisions? I'm sure it's in the back of my brain somewhere, just can't seem to dig it out.

lol I'll use the term direct democracy for now

also dunno if anyone knows this either, when running for parliment does the party have to pay the £500 deposit or can the individual pay it even though they are running for a party

and is it true that within that £500 you can also send a leaflet to every household in your constituancy free of charge?

Either can pay it. Unless you are in a big party, you wil almost certainly end up paying most or all of it yourself.

You get a free delivery, but you still have to print and organise the leaflets yourself, which is very expensive for 40,000+ leaflets.

now I just need to find 600 people, 1 from each constituency.... and each willing to part with a couple of grand..... hmm
