Roast beef and Yorkshire pud. A bit "typical" I know but very good .
I like a decent curry as well, and a nice piece of lamb.

I concur! It is too difficult to make a final choice though.

Grab one of those packs of Bird's Eye frozen rice with mushrooms and peas in it. Grab some Hellmann's Mediterranean Mayo. Mix. Eat. Die of heart attack with a big smile on your face.

In 1959 whilst working in Kent, I was introduced to two things. I saw Acker Bilk live and have loved Trad Jazz ever since. I also had my first Curry! I have abhorred Curry ever since. That particular Curry was so hot I had to drink about 2 gallons of water to poke it down. The other silly sods in the party, with sweat hosing out of their brows said they loved it! In my opinion they were saying that out of sheer bravado!
My favourite meal is: Smoked Salmon starter, Roast Beef with every Vegetable apart from parsnips that can be grown in an English garden, ( no foreign muck spices!) as the main course, followed by Vanilla Ice cream with a girt big dollop of Devonshire clotted cream on it. All this washed down with large quantities of any Red Wine (except French vinegar)

I never liked the taste of lamb. The Serbs in my community wanted
a market to buy lamb. I checked around and found a hair St. Croix
sheep farmer. He gave me a slab out of his freezer and I cured it in my
smokehouse and loved it. It was the lanolin which gave it a taste I
had not acquired.

Now, my favorite meal is smoked St. Croix lamb, fresh green beans with red potatoes and ham hock, cornbread, and sweet potato pie with homemade vanilla ice cream from the milk of the St. Croix sheep's milk.

I'm going for authentic Italian lasagna. Gorgeous stuff - much better than anything you can get in the UK.

My wife is the witch of the kitchen, so I am spoilt for choice.
Her Thai chicken curry is amazing......but then so is the beef in red wine, the salmon in Cajun spices, barbecued pork, fennel with Roquefort......
