It will never change if all of the good people keep leaving.

My only issue with AB's resignation is that he hasn't gone on to do anything good since. However, I am sure that will change after a rest.

There are two ways a party can go. Either it sets its stall out to be different and principled, which UKIP used to say it was, but no one can believe that now it has lost so many MEPs to dubiousness.

Or it can just accept that politics is a filthy shitfest, where only the biggest liars and cheats can win, but in addition to that, liars and cheats who do not get caught until they have been in power for a while. UKIP seems to be pretty poor at the secondary requirement.

I think he should join the Liberals, but then I think most people should join the Liberals.

Can't see that as an option in the poll so I think I'll vote for "its up to Anthony".

Default Which identity?

I think if he has an English identity, he should join the Free England Party! We are still few in number and he would probably make an outstanding contribution at this early stage in the party's development.

What a repulsive thread - the political allegiance of Mr. Butcher isn't subject to public vote!

Agreed, which is one reason why I didn't contribute to this thread before. But tito expresses my view more elegantly than I would have done.

Likewise, apart from my addition of the "Up to Anthony Butcher" option in the poll.

It isn't just up to Anthony. UKIP will block any attemped rejoin anyway, as per RS.

I think I said at the time Skiman was shelved for 90 days that others should apply to rejoin UKIP,just to see if there was a difference or even something comparable with the two responses from HQ.
