I'm taking the blue pill

I am done giving myself stress caring about being free.

I have bought myself a playstation 3. I will be immersing myself in Blue Ray movies, games and home media centre capabilities all in HD.

I will be asking my news agent to supply me with some sort of tabloid rag, which I shall treat as a bible.

I will tune in to X Factor, Britains Got Talent and all the other Cattle Fodder they can throw at me.

I shall order pizza from Dominos online and think of Sky News as truth bringers.

Sure, I will get slowly poorer as my taxes get higher. Sure I will have to put up with inspectors checking to make sure I am a good little zombie. We never had democracy, so I won't really miss it when it is finally made clear to all that it is dead.

I don't care, I am joining the masses in blissful ignorance. I shall recycle like a demon, believing in full that it is saving the planet. I shall only drive a 0.1 litre Daewoo Ecofascist Sport.

Give me the blue pill man, I can't take it anymore!

Well done mkpd - you didn't mention watching the soaps, but I expect that is covered in the 'other Cattle Fodder' - go in ignorant bliss!
