Default Mail hypocrisy

I hate the Daily Mail.

They are the Tories of the media world. Pretend to be something they are not. Just a bunch of fascists who want their own way.

The latest piece of hypocrisy, is their crappy "ban the bag" campaign. Yep it's the usual fascist **** we have to put up with, but they are gross hypocrites too. In todays (and most Sunday issues I would expect), they have a bundle of drivel laden magazines and section. What are they in? You guessed it, a plastic bag.

What utter arseholes they are.

The people who write this stuff don't even receive their own newspapers through the door. Most newspapers are now so full of junk that how any of them can claim to be environmentally friendly Lord alone knows. The present quality of journalism, with it's lack of objectivity and almost continual and blatant hypocrisy, has returned to the gutter standards of the 18th century.

Matt, I wouldn't express your point in your inimitable style, but on this occasion it is well made.

Here's an experiment for you. Go and check out the Mail's web site. Make some comments in various styles and see if a moderator approves them.
After a while you should notice that only the comments which support the hysteria are posted.

I am sure The Daily Mail caters perfectly for people of a certain viewpoint some of whom post here - we know who they are

"BAN THE BAG!?!?!?!"

I have NOT used a shop issued plastic bag for over 10 months, the fact is you buy a sturdy bag and take it to the supermarket with you. or put your shopping into a trolley and take it to the car.

What do I miss about a shop issued bag???

I have not got any thing to put my rubbish in!!

and what about my rubbish? no one comes to my house to collect it, I have to take it in the car to a lay-by (about 3 mins away) with about 5 big wooden boxes in, but who's complaining?

my council tax is only about £ 250.00 a year!!!

The Daily Hate-Mail isn't something I usually read.
