Striking and fairly well known for what, i would say for being a single issue pressure group.

Why does UKIP not learn from the big parties both Labour and Conservatives have re-branded with some success.

Isn't it more important to focus on the issues and things the party stands for that the logo that is part of the parties image. I wouldn't be interested for long in a party with a up-to-date snazzy new logo and nothing of substance concerning it's stand on things and the policies it represents. All fur coat and no thong-does not turn me on!!!

Its not just about a logo its about branding, at the minute people see the £ sign or hear the word UKIP and if they have heard of us at all they think single issue pressure group.

If you ask anyone what the Conservatives stand for they would probably say low taxation, privatization etc.

This why we need to re-brand so when people consider UKIP they think direct democracy, flat taxes, small government, referendum etc, this can only be achieved if we re-launch the party with a new logo, new image and a defined set of core values.

Depending on results in the next day or so you may be correct on UKIP needing to rebrand itself BA,however,if we get the breaks as some are expecting, rebranding would be a tough point to put forward I think.

Re-naming or radical re-branding would simply move our recognition back to zero. If people think we have getting out of the EU as our single main issue, then they are right.

And thats why we cant and wont win elections people will not vote in great numbers for single issue parties.

I'm absolutely sure their were people within the Tory party that didn't want the new tree logo or the slogan "Vote Blue Go Green" i don't like it but its working with the electorate, look at the polls.

I'm equally sure their was a vast amount of members in the Labour party who didn't want to drop clause four and change the name to New Labour and we all know the results from that re-branding.

B.A.Ware! You must have when you wrote that! You're pulling our leg! I can't believe you honestly think that the Tory popularity is caused by their, "Vote Blue Go Green" slogan and the tree logo!

UKIP need a change of public. A public that isn't thick and zombie like. A public who can spot a scam and think for themselves.

A public that refuses to play along with the puppet show anymore.
