The Communist styled European Union presently consists of 27 States,the UK is one of them.

Of the remaining 26 Communist style European Union States,19 of them have spent many years of their existance living under the heel of their Dictators.

I don't know how others feel,but having spent quite some time living in the Communist/Dictator world I am not looking forward to spending the rest of my time in such a world.

Federalist, yes.

Communist? That’s just silly.

In any case times have changed. The USSR collapsed on 21 Dec 1991 (seventeen YEARS ago) with the signing of the Alma Ata Protocol.

The previous states of the USSR then became free to choose the government the people wanted, and in nearly all cases there was a huge surge towards capitalism, especially in Russia.

These days to equate Russia with Communism is laughable.

If the EU is communist, then so is the USA.

Now Turkey, that’s another kettle of fish altogether. Turkey really should NEVER be allowed entry to the EU.

Why do I bother?

Because there are times when, after having read reams of interminably boring tripe, often badly written by some barely literate obviously “new grad” who’s been given the job of “documenting the job” I NEED to get my mind around other things.

For example, not of a big piece of work as above but another recent job, part of a user instruction sheet from the importer of a Chinese kettle who is “badge engineering” it so it can be legally said to have been “made in the EU”, this gem to be converted to English, French, and German.

“Water heat only without food in it. Not put live animals or fishes in it when hot or heating. Not ever.

Not drink from when boiling not part body in it to put. Not use on flame or fire electricity only. Keep all times away clear of water”

That was a direct translation from Chinese to English.

I had to convert it into English and sense, then into French and German whilst at the same time ensuring that I didn’t make any grammatical or logical faux pas of my own in so doing.

See the problem? See why a break, ANY break, is a GOOD thing!
