60% don't

I fail to see the significance of this figure.

Default Pray, UK, EU

40% means that 24 million people in the UK pray every day. Hardly a small figure. I wonder how many people pray during a whole week - I am sure it is a clear majority of the population of the UK.

Let us all pray right now. We can give thanks to Our Lord and we can also add a prayer that our wish be granted: that we leave the EU.

We shall all wait for God's omnipotence to grant you your every wish...

I posted a few leaflets on the way home just now, but good luck with your method too :|

Prayer illustrates living faith, not just theory. It should be acknowledged by cynics as well as those who take strength from it.

There are some things that cannot be supressed or compressed ! If the every so cool and clever secularists continue to ridicule faith they will only succeed in alienating believers completely or is that what they want to do?

With all the suffering throughout the World in the past and the present I do not know how people can believe in a loving God watching over us! As I've said many times it is only the fear of dying that makes people Religious!

Could it be that prayer is ridiculed in exactly the same way as psychic touch, homeopathy or Uri Geller? None of them work and we shouldn't give any of them any respect.

I literally know dozens of Christians (myself included) who will disagree with what you just said.

Of course they will disagree, otherwise they would not be Christians. What a strange statement. It would be irrational to believe prayer doesn't work and to still pray...

The point remains, whether you believe it or not has no bearing upon its truth. So far prayer has never been proven.
