The point is that Christians are having there rights eroded by this government and for some of us that is unacceptable.

Perhaps that's what they prayed for.

I don't pray so much these days, but I saw one of these surveys that showed that religious people have a life expectancy, IIRC, of 7 years more than non-religious people. (No link, but I'm sure someone else has seen it).

God must be confused with the contrary prayers and might have to leave some things to chance. Oddly, once or twice a year, I ask God, in the nicest possible way, if he could see to it that Coventry City get promoted. There are clearly more people praying that they languish in mid-table in the Championship for an indefinite period, although God probably allowed us to beat Spurs in the !987 FA Cup Final (I was there) to appease those who had devoted their years to praying for a trophy for the Sky Blues.
