Or perhaps no-one should receive preferential treatment unless it is either needed or deserved, something which is not based on mere numbers.

We would just like a fair go and not to be repeatedly told by new Labour that we should always have to comprimise our beleifs in favour of others.

The partnership between State and church has worked well over the years, I hope it continues to do so.

Are you seriously suggesting that this could never have occurred without the state breathing down your neck? Are you suggesting that the church is impotent to help people without the state?

I would argue that American Christianity is much better than British Christianity at this.

The state and religion should be separate

That statement over the religious culture of this country is predominately (overwhelmingly so) based on liberal Christianity of the Protestant shading to Catholic type

Many people who describe themselves as Christian only go for Hatch Match and Despatch although they will try and behave to a point in a Christian manner in fact more so then some church goers

The compact should be you can follow your religion as long as it HARMS no one and does not interfere in your duty as a citizen

Personally me and God have an agreement I don't proselytise and he don't hit me with lightening that much
