Not in Danzig, which was under Prussian control and had an ethnic German majority for most of its history (96% German in 1939). Lots of RN establishments will be celebrating. Not very PC as the UK defeated France and Spain combined (although to their credit the crew of one of the captured Spanish ships joined in on the Brit side).

Kiwi is polish; can't get Gdansk in the local Co-op. Where can I buy some 'polish user' (the expert)? Do you recommend Pledge for wooden surfaces?

And since 990 until 1308 (when it was conquered by the TKs), and since 1454 until 1793 (when it was conquered by the Prussians), and since 1945 until today, it has been Polish. Longer than German.
The native population of Gdansk was Polish. The only Germans that ever lived there were gastarbeiters (immigrants) and German colonists. Gdansk (NOT DANZIG) is as German as Tibet is Chinese. Just like the Germans, the Chicomms are now sending colonists to Tibet. Your claim is ridiculous - every intelligent person knows it is. I'm sure you are not even a Briton but a Nazi subversive.

...but the 'native' population was only 4% in 1939. That's like saying New York is still native American and all the rest are colonisers and gastarbeiters (odd choice of word since the conquest of Gdansk by the Teutonic Knights was hardly by invite).
