Oh. And there's one good reason for being able to carry a weapon:

You are not the property of the state - you are a free man.

Period.

Whilst that is true, only 11 states allow non-permit open carry.

David Cameron should hug them (knife carriers). That'll sort the problem out!

Exactly, we shouldn't even have to come up with arguments for legalising them (although there are plenty)

It is stupid to say we cannot do anything not expressly permitted by the law (The continental system). It should be the job of them to make an argument for making them illegal.

In the UK we have more knife crime than the American knife and gun crime rates combined (Comparatively). Making guns illegal doesn't remove a criminal opportunity, it just makes them turn to other methods. If someone wants to kill he more than likely will, and when one of these crazies does come for me I'd like to be able to defend myself.

I saw a documentary about the sheriff of New Hampshire, he said "The criminals are scared to commit crimes because they know there is a 8/10 chance that the victim is armed"

New Hampshire would be fantastic if the Dem governor hadn't just signed in a state-wide blanket smoking ban. And the property taxes weren't so high.

Yes, I was listening to Free Talk Live (a New Hampshire based, liberty orientated, radio station) when that happened. They do have 0% sales tax in New Hampshire, however, which I suppose is one of the reasons why there is high property tax.
