As a net based party all members could be based anywhere in world, we can plan meetings with those near each other but an online party would give us an advantage over physical parties in that we don't have to stay in one place.

Members can stand for the party in other EU states under the party's banner, something which would help us greatly.

Good point - but I think there is something additional about pressing flesh when it comes to encouraging the troops.

Cool

Network economics, join your network to another network and value is added to both. This is the reason I am on communty sites, I join their groups and people join my groups. I invite them to other groups and they join.

It's nice having people around physically to help you it's even better to have people around physically to help you and also online, worldwide. When this forum was first launched I expect there weren't many people on it, now all the parties view it coz there are so many people on here. We all link our own groups, parties and websites to each other through this site.

Facebook turned down an offer of over a $billion for their site. The users add value to a site, they add the content and the owners of the sites get the billions. It's the network economy. Connect our networks with American networks and we can swap experiences and info. It's all about added value. A political party created by the merger of many smaller gorups and sites gives the newbies our experience. We can learn new things from them.

As far as politics goes - I like the fact that democracy can rule with much greater ease.

This seemed a big issue to UKIP members.

I think it is, there are so many sites produced by UKIP members and supporters. We all seem to love using the net to inform the world.
