I think that it shows the futility of two people arguing over something with which neither have anything other than belief to back up their arguments.
They can pontificate as much as they like but it doesn't change a damned thing: we just don't know what the answer is. We hardly even know what the question is!

Have to say I like both of them to a degree, because they speak their minds without fear.
