Default Don't buy petrol off supermarkets

Just a quick heads-up for anyone who hasn't seen the news.

Drivers filling up at Tesco and Morrisons have been having problems with contaminated fuel.

Since the problem appears to be linked to petrol refined abroad, your blame is correctly placed.

No need for a tinfoil hat. Petrol refined abroad by aliens is what's causing the problem. UK refined stuff (i.e. BP) isn't affected.

I have not had any problems with the fuel from Morrisons. Could be that they take their supplies in the north from a different refinery. Will continue to use it as I am nearly due £5 voucher.

Is it a government conspiracy to get us out of our cars - we should be told

This morning's train crash anything to do with petrol problems?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/6407025.stm

Oh, and on HYS there's a couple of reports of diesel being affected. And one non-supermarket vendor (Total). BP and Shell seem OK.

UK-wide, according to HYS.
