Tanni Grey Thompson

In an age where Britian quite often bemoans its lack of success in the sporting arena i feel it would be remiss of us not to note the retirement of Tanni Grey Thompson at the age of 37. Tanni has had a long and distingushed career and unlke many of our prima donna sports stars who are often wrapped in cotton wool faces every day of her life unable to do things most of us take for granted.

Good on you girl and enjoy your retirement, this country should be proud of you.
