Default Crazy News from Britain Part 1

A Cambridge University student incurred the wrath of the local constabulary who issued the 18 year old with an £80 fine on the spot.

His crime? Making a snow willy in a local park! For crying out loud if that isn't a normal student prank then I don't what is. Call me old fashioned but I would have thought the Cambridge police could have better things to do like catching criminals or stopping binge drinking fighting every weekend in Cambridge.

I would refuse to pay that.

There are many sculptures of the male form in public. His temporary one is hardly a crime.

I love the logic of these on-the-spot fines.

Mickey Mouse must be wondering where all these "non payment of fine" letters are coming from.

Mhmm.

"Hey, I feel like I wish to abuse my power. A vague sculpture of a male's genitals? Perfect!"

Yes quite! Far more acceptable and appropriate than Tracy Emin's recent works of so called art. Let's all vote for "British Ice Phallus 2007". And good luck to the sculptor if he got the £20K! :P

If you can't satisfactorily convince a Police Officer of your ID, he will arrest you under S.25 of PACE 1984.

That brings about an interesting possibility for a prank...

Change name to "Mickey Mouse" via deed-poll and see what fun follows.
