The reds lost the miners' strike

The reds lost the nationalisation battle

. Quite rightly unprofitable concerns were sold off (by Mrs. - now Lady Thatcher) so they couldn't fleece the taxpayer (you, me and most people reading this) any more.
The reds lost the battle over CND in the 1980's

(nuclear disarmers - which included many communists).
The reds lost their battle to get rid of public schools (just as well since most of them attended them).
I can think of lots of battles the reds have lost.
Many union leaders were more interested in their own power and their luxury offices and perks than they were in protecting the workers stuck outside cleaning the streets on a cold day like this. Reds are hypocrites.
Mind on the left - pocket on the right.
