Yes, I can understand that in the case of there's so much evidence that to deny it is sticking your head in the sand, but for one case, regardless of media spin, is a bit drastic.

They are thousands of cases of child abuse every year.
Of course anyone who abuses a child should be sterilised.

Not necessarily.

They may have had no idea how to raise a child successfully and thought that smacking a child is the way to get it to be raised in a healthy manner.

They shouldn't be sterilised for ignorance.

Then again, I'm against corporal/capital punishment in general. Life's far too short to have it spent being whipped/killed early.

It's because of people like you our society is in the mess it is.
We need Order and Discipline.
