I'm saying that if you're doing it for fun, take precautions.

If those precautions fail, then live with the consequences (whether it be AIDS, herpes or a baby).

It's like base jumping. It's fun, but if your precautions don't work then it was your choice to jump off the building in the first place.

The Christian side of me doesn't agree with abortion. But the libertarian side of me says: fine, as long as the woman pays for it herself (i.e. I pay zero towards it) and the father has given his written consent for the action.

If the religion or creed you personally follow says don't do this or that then fine I have absolutely no problems with you following it providing it does not effect anyone else.

BUT whatever persuausion you follow you will ask for tolerance of it and therefore you should show this tolerance to others and vice versa.

You may bang on about your rights BUT with rights come responsibilities

I do agree. But you've also got to remember that, with the analogy, there's the deal of emergency services :wink:

It's not exactly the hardest thing in the world to say you have no partner.

Although, on the thought of abortion, you've got the other side of the coin for males. Females have the opt-out clause of an abortion, what do males have? Currently they cannot say "Nope, I'm having nothing to do with the baby" without the female's permission.

If the woman does this (kills his kid) across a bloke without his permission, then it's 40 years in the clink for her.

It's real easy - don't have full unprotected sex with anyone who you wouldn't mind having a baby with.

There's plenty of other options for casual fun if you're that way inclined.
