Today’s Daily Mail reports that:
Darrell Hair is set set to sue Pakistan's cricket authorities and the world governing body for racial discrimination following the decision to demote him from the elite umpire's list. The question he and his lawyers will want answering is why his fellow official at the Oval last August, West Indian Billy Doctrove, has been allowed to continue his career unimpeded. The crisis blew up when they awarded five runs against Pakistan skipper Inzamam-Ul-Haq for ball tampering. He was later cleared of that, but fined for bringing the game into disrepute for refusing to lead his team on to the field. Find out more at: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1849 |
