Default Apologising for Slavery

Roll up roll up all you guilt ridden white people! Join with the Bishop of Lincoln and other worthies from the Cool Brittannia establishment to atone for the Empire! On your hands and knees and in chains if you want, they'll be provided as well!

I did point out that slavery was a practice that every race, country and people had been involved in over the millennia, but to no avail. It's all our fault, it has been decreed. I mentioned that black tribes sold other black tribespeople to the European slavers in the 17th and 18th centuries, but again some facts are allowed and some not. The Arabs were masters at it and it's still going on in some parts of the world. Irrelavent they who must be obeyed opine.

We also effectively abolished it too! The Wilberforce, Abolitionst Movement, Chatham et al, Royal Navy blockades and protection.

The truth is right there in front of them and they are ignoring it!

Give the descendant of a slave the choice of living in the UK/USA or going to live as an ordinary citizen in Ghana, Sierra Leone, etc I would be willing to bet that 99% wouldnt go "home". The same would be the answer of most West Indians, living in Antigua, St Lucia etc is a much better option.

Additionally there is the classic example of Liberia which was recolonised by ex-slaves returning to their own continent , other than possibly Congo and Zimbabwe the worst country in the whole of Africa to live in

Descendants of slaves should every day thank the slave traders for their good luck

I remember the great Sammy Davis Jnr saying at the time a lot of Black Americans were talking about going back to Africa, " I earn a $million in the States and I'm not going back to Africa for anybody" It is complete stupidity to try and take the blame for something that happened before you were born!

It made me laugh when Blair apologised on our behalf a few weeks ago.

Perhaps one day he might see fit to apologise for the things that he is responsible for... there's a first time for everything.

It was only Northern Europeans who took an interest in abolishing slavery.
The Africans and Arabs to this day still practice slavery.
In Sudan where the British Empire once wiped out the Slave trade now its back in force.
We should be demanding an apolgy from Africa and its descendents and while we are at it we should send them a bill for the costs of infrastructure, healthcare, educations etc that we spent on Africa.

An apology from Blair is worthless.

In fact, almost any words from his mouth are worthless.
