Not a full on one, but a leaning one is what this country needs right now.

I agree.

Unleashing a full one right here and now cannot be a guaranteed safe move.

However, given the road we're going down, we need more freedoms.

Its the Norweigen Progress party the second biggest party in Norway.
They are much like our Liberal Party was under Gladstone.

All depends what is meant by a "Liberal party," If it means heavy human rights issues such as Gaye's being allowed to adopt children, pedophiles having treatment and counseling to cure them  and peoples religious rights allow them to slaughter animals using a medieval barbaric method and hugging hoodies because they feel unloved, if those are some of the issues a Liberal party stands for, then I never want to see a Liberal party in power!

Kernow you seek a Nationalist or Traditional Conservative party not a Classical Liberal/Libertarian party.

The general population of the UK couldn't handle the responsibility of a libertarian society at the moment - it'd have to be phased in.

The Libertarians have being trying to use the Conservative party to do this for many years now.
Mean while real Conservatives need a new party.

Certainly the closest thing we had recently was Thatcher's Tories circa 1979 - 1987 with whole buying your own council house thing etc.
