Today’s Daily Mail reports that “Unmarried couples who separate could be forced to divide their assets equally if a legal challenge before the House of Lords this week proves successful. A ruling on an estranged couple's battle over their share in the family property could have implications for millions of others.”

Get married. Get a pre-nup. Move to a country where they actually recognise pre-nups.

Carter's got it right. I couldn't have said that better myself.

Although I'd LOVE to see a court "equally divide" certain other things, like dogs, cats, and other things that go splat.

Ive been out with quite a few women and not one of them has ever showed an interest in watching the news.
