“Republican Parade Protest”

On the 20th of January 2007, Cairde Na hEireann, the Scottish Wing of Sinn Fein are planning to hold a republican parade through Glasgow.

Last year over 1,000 protestors turned out to voice their opposition to the parade.

I feel some groups just want to take the mick.

Scottish IRA supporters think it is their right to enjoy democratic privilages when they advocate violent overthrow of legitimate government and the eradication of british culture from Ireland.

I hope more protest this year than last.

And no doubt any sympathetic :evil: members of the police / army / fire brigade will be allowed to march in uniform.......

No, they will probably be forced to hand out leaflets on some issue at the march.

I hope the decent people of Glasgow gave this IRA worshipping rabble the benefit of their disgust. :evil:

Surely the Anti Fascist league or whatever its called will be demonstrating against it ?
