To help you make an informed choice: EFTA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EFTA NAFTA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAFTA Commonwealth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commonwealth_of_Nations Most Favoured Nation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Most_favoured_nation This policy could be crucial in helping people make an informed choice if Britain ever decided to leave the EU. |

I've just voted for the CFTA.
A Commonwealth Free Trade Association (CFTA) could become a very important organisation in the world (involving over 50 nations which have much in common). It (the CFTA) could also develop to cover defence and, for instance, a Commonwealth Space Agency (so that the UK can leave the European Space Agency and join one made up of English speaking nations in the Commonwealth instead). The UK, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Ghana would be the leading members of a CFTA - but all countries in it would be treated fairly (something which is certainly not happening as regards the UK in the EU). I wanted to vote for EFTA as well, but we are only allowed one vote. |

Most Favoured Nation - agreements with who we want is by far the best option which ive argued for in another thread.
The Commonwealth option may have a certain Imperial appeal but it would be a disaster. There is no way we could compete with India in terms of Wages and Production costs. |

India is well on the way to being an economic superpower and a world power in other areas too. It is strongly in the interests of both India and the UK to build on the links we have and to expand co-operation between the two nations. India is the second biggest investor in London and one of the largest overseas investors in the UK. The political and economic opportunities which await the UK in India once it gets shot of the outdated EU straitjacket are huge. India is a potential market of over 1 billion people - most of whom speak English as their first or second language. The UK's three decades in the EEC/EU - a mostly non-English speaking organisation of 470 million people - has been disastrous for our economy. We have had a trading deficit with the EEC/EU in each of the year's of our membership except for the first year. That has not been the case with India or the rest of the Commonwealth. |

The EU accounts for more than fifty per cent of Britain’s trade in goods and services, while eight of Britain’s top ten trading partners are in Europe (the others being Canada and the US). |

Most the Commonwealth countries despise us.
Which is what you would expect from people we conquered. Of the Commonwealth I would have free trade only with the British settler former Collonys of Canada, New Zealand and Australia. At least in the main these are still countries composed of men of our blood. |
